Lorenzo Morandini

Class of 1993, he started his training at the Teatro Nuovo in Turin. In 2016 he graduated from Trinity Laban in London with the choreographic research “The Enlightenment”. From 2018 to 2021 he is among the authors of the project Incubatore CIMD in Milan, during which he develops the choreographic project IDILLIO, selected for the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore XL within the festival Ammutinamenti 2021. At the same time he starts a personal journey of movement research inspired by training experiences carried out in nature. In 2020 he is selected for the training project Nuove Traiettorie XL.
Take part in the MilanoOltre e Più che dance festivals! with Idillio, a choreographic research project for which she receives a residency at Movimento Danza in Naples and receives the second prize in the Residenza 2019 competition. Her artistic path is enriched by the teaching of contemporary dance at various locations in Trentino and on the national territory.
With AZIONIfuoriPOSTO he organizes from 2020 the festival “Danzare A Monte” in Val di Fiemme. For the collective he is interpreter in the project PERSPECTIVA: VEDERE ATTRAVERSO, presented at Oriente Occidente Dance Festival 2020 and CROSS Festival 2021. For the company Ariateatro he dances as interpreter for the show OGNI ISTANTE DEI NOSTRI INCONTRI. In 2021, he dances as performer for the show CHORÒS by Alessio Maria Romano within the Oriente Occidente Festival. in the same year he starts the collaboration with Orizzonte Giovani where he teaches contemporary dance to groups of all ages.
In 2022 he was selected by the Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza as an Artist on the Net, a professional support action for emerging choreographers. The choreographic project S is selected by the Antibodies network for development in the ResiDance XL action.
