Dance Mob Lab
Dance Mob Lab is a research laboratory that investigates the relationships among body perception, spatial dynamics, expressive improvisation that ensues when sound is captured, as well as the possible effects towards urban dance context as a socialising moment. The vibrations that are created within the empathetic human system reverberate the sounds originating from an on-the-field sampling, create a continuous, high artistic level, and experiential echo. The target to be reached at performative level is to sum up the participants’ particular expressions and leads to ever changing paths of collective experience. Our strict task is that of supporting the participants in using the synergies of listening to themselves, the space, and others, by means of the energies that have emerged from the group itself. Few, simple rules will be offered in order to acquire a code for choreographic research that necessarily needs to remain as open and as playful as possible.
Unrestricted participation
For all the participants: please bring comfortable clothes and your determination to free your body.
